Published on 17th March 2025 in UncategorisedWe congratulate Wendy Harrington on being selected for the Golf Australia Team to play their annual Ryder Cup style match against the Australian Defence Forces Team. This is a 12-person team format to be played at Portsea GC.
The Australian Team comprises the leading available senior male player from each state from the preceding years Golf Australia Senior OOM.
One proviso to the above is that current Australian Team members are ineligible to be selected as a Senior rep in this event. This ‘shares the love’ and gives representative honours to more Senior players.
The two women representing Australia is our own Wendy Harrington and Sue Wooster from The National GC.
The Defence Forces Team is selected from their annual Australian Defence Championships.
