The Barrenjoey Women’s Classic Committee would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Monash for hosting the Foursomes Competition on Tuesday and the Presentation Evening on Thursday evening last week!
With 514 women competitors representing over 50 golf clubs, the event remains the largest amateur women’s golf event in Australia. This year, Monash was represented by 26 golfers.
The Monash course was in excellent condition and was thoroughly enjoyed and praised by the competitors. The hospitality was equally outstanding, with a well-received lunch and delicious canapes served at presentation.
A special thank you to our wonderful event helpers across the two days – Ria Livanas, Sue Webb, Sara Levy, Sue Duchesne, Young Kim and Robyn Burns – for their invaluable support.
The event successfully raised over $13,944 for Women and Children First who are deeply grateful for this donation. Finally, thank you to all the Monash members who generously purchased raffle tickets – your support made a real difference.
