Published on 12th July 2024 in UncategorisedCourse Update
Following some pleasant weather over the last few days we are pleased to announce that following today’s course inspection, all 18 holes will be open from Saturday, 13th July, with some restrictions in place.
Here are the conditions from tomorrow.
- 18 Holes Open
- Driving Range Open, limited to 150m until further notice.
- Preferred Lie 30cm in General Area (Through Green)
- Bunkers in play
- Competitions will still be played, however will be reduced to $6.
- Carts Off, Pull/Electric Buggies Allowed: Carts are still off as further drying is needed on course, we will communicate with members when a decision has been made on allowing golf carts.
- Adjusted Tees and Holes: Due to turf conditions, some holes have been shortened, to allow protect those areas. Please refer to the notices posted at the front of the shop daily, as holes will return to full length as the course improves.
- Until further notice holes will play as follows:
- 1st – Played as a Par 3
- 2nd – Play from the Red tees
- 4th – Played as a Par 3
- 7th – Play from the Red tees
- 9th – Play from the Red tees
- 11th – Play from the top of the fairway rise
- 12th – Play from the Waratah Tee
- 13th – Played as a par 3 just short of the Rock shelf
- 15th – Play from the bottom of the hill
- 16th – Played as a par 3 from the top of the rise
- Please note that on mixed competition days some red/waratah tees will be moved to the fairway.
- Until further notice holes will play as follows:
- No scores submitted to golflink: As indicated above, certain par 5’s will be played as par 4’s, and some par 4’s will be played as par 3’s. Due to these changes, we are unable to update the above course pars on MiScore, which will mean no scores will be submitted to golflink. This provides a great opportunity for excellent Stableford scores, and a bit of fun.
- Safety Notice: The course is extremely slippery in parts. Please watch your step and be aware that all golfers play at their own risk.
- Ground Under Repair (GUR): All areas marked GUR, or that are roped are to be treated as compulsory GUR. At no point should golfers play from these areas.
- Directional Signage and Ropes: Please follow all directional signage and ropes. These areas are extremely soft and wet and need to be protected.
- Divot Repair: We ask all players to take and use sand buckets to repair divots. A short video demonstrating the correct way to fix a divot is attached below.

Enjoy your golf.
